Member of Muslim Brotherhood calls on Tripoli militias to wear military uniforms

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – Member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s Justice and Construction Party, Mahmoud Abdel-Aziz, has called on militias in Tripoli to publicly appear wearing military uniforms.

In a video posted on social media websites, Abdel-Aziz asked the capital’s militias to appear in military uniforms and avoid wearing sportswear.

This came after militia leaders in Tripoli were mocked by Libyans on social media for dressing in sportswear. Leader of the so-called Tripoli’s Revolutionaries’ Brigade (TRB), Haitham al-Tajouri, has particularly become a running joke on Libyan social media for wearing  luxurious labels like Versace or Dolce & Gabbana to the front lines of the battle.
