Mitiga airport authorities deny being hit by airstrikes; announce resumption of flights

TRIPOLI – Authorities at Mitiga airport denied on Sunday that the airport was hit by airstrikes last night, according to a posting on the airport authorities’ Facebook page on Sunday.

Authorities said the closure of the air space of the airport by the authorities of the Civil Aviation Authority was temporary due to air safety procedures, noting the airspace was reopened.

Authorities at Mitiga airport also said that flights were going normally and that the air traffic time is now from 5 pm to 8 am.
