Regional director of BMCSR says militias in Tripoli are using women & children as human shields

TRIPOLI – Regional director of the British Middle East Center for Studies and Research (BMCSR), Amjad Taha, said on Monday that militias in Tripoli are using women and children as human shields.

Taha said those militias are also using houses and hospitals as military headquarters.

The regional director of the London-based think tank added that terrorist militias in Tripoli received heavy blows during the battle of the Libyan National Army (LNA) to liberate the capital.

aha confirmed that 47 members of the Muslim Brotherhood fled from Tripoli to Doha on a Turkish plane after renewed clashes in the vicinity of the Yarmouk camp.
