Qatari opposition figure: The two Hamads regime damaged Libya through its support for terrorism

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

DOHA – Qatari opposition figure and rights activist, Jaber Al-Kahla Al-Marri, the regime of the “Two Hamads” (Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, former Emir of Qatar, and Hamad Bin Jassim Al-Thani, former Prime Minister of Qatar) has damaged many Arab countries, including Libya, through its support for the Muslim Brotherhood and other terrorist groups.

Speaking during an interview with Libya Al-Hadath TV channel, Al-Marri affirmed that “the majority of the people of Qatar are against the policy of the Tamim government,” in a reference to Qatar’s current Emir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

“We apologize to Libya and its people for the actions that all the Qataris reject, except for the government, which since 1996 has proved to support terrorism and instigate it through Al Jazeera and others,” said Al-Marri.

Al-Marri stressed that both Qatar and Turkey are relying on the support of Israel to continue their “terrorist scheme” in the region.

Al-Marri predicts that the Qatari regime will not last for long as the country faces an economic crisis after several Arab countries cut ties with it in 2017 over its support for terrorism.
