254 killed and 1228 injured so far in Tripoli

TRIPOLI – The death toll of the clashes in Tripoli has hit 254, and 1228 people have been injured, the World Health Organization (WHO) said on Sunday.

WHO said, in the past week, its specialized emergency medical teams in front-line hospitals handled 89 major and 63 surgeries.

Last evening, spokesman of the General Command of the Libyan National Army (LNA), General Brigadier Ahmed al-Mesmari, accused militias of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) of “storing weapons and military equipment in residential neighborhoods.”
