TUNIS – The Delegation of the European Union to Libya hosted on Wednesday two meetings of EU Member States Ambassadors with delegations from the House of Representatives in Tunisia to try to find common ground between Libyan stakeholders, according to a statement by the EU delegation in Libya.
Delegations of the House of Representatives were led respectively the first Deputy Speaker Fawzi Nuweiri and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Yousuf Aghouri.
According to the European delegation in Libya, “the EU side insisted that there is no military solution and urged all parties to agree on a ceasefire and return to the political process in order to address all outstanding issues and bring an end to the transition in Libya.”
The Delegation of the European Union to Libya hosts two meetings of EU Member States Ambassadors with delegations from the HoR led respectively by 1st VP Nuweiri and Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee Aghouri.
