NOC says oil revenues rose to more than $1.5 billion in March

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – The Tripoli-based  National Oil Corporation (NOC) said on Saturday that revenues rose to more than $1.5 billion in March, up 20 percent from the previous month.

The $270 million rise in revenue was mainly due to the ending of a three-month armed blockade at the south-western oilfield of El Sharara, NOC said in a statement.

However, chairman of NOC, Mustafa Sanalla, has warned that the ongoing fight in Tripoli “poses a serious threat to our operations, production and the national economy”.
