TRIPOLI – The Libyan National Army (LNA) continue to advance in Khalat Al-Furjan and Salaheddine where its forces have captured many militants of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) in addition to confiscating their weapons and military vehicles.
According to LNA’s Military Information Division, among the militants arrested were the ones who were fighting with the so-called ‘Mustafa Ben Rabaa Battalion’ and ‘Hattin Battalion’.
The Military Information Division also said that LNA forces confiscated military vehicles and weapons which those militants possessed including SAM 7 man-portable, surface-to-air missiles.
Spokesman of the General Command of the LNA, General Brigadier Ahmed al-Mesmari, said in a press conference yesterday that military operations have intensified in Yarmouk-Salaheddin axis, with successful advances for LNA in Ain Zara.
