The Address | Benghazi – Libya
CAIRO – Egypt’s President, Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, said on Saturday that Egypt backs the Libyan National Army (LNA) to restore stability and security in the troubled country during his meeting with the former top lawmaker at Germany’s Bundestag, Volker Kauder.
El-Sisi said that Egypt supports the Libyan army in his fight against extremists and the armed militias in chaotic Libya.
The president underlined the dangerous outcomes of any unplanned foreign interference in Libya that could badly affect some inside epidemics such as terrorism, illegal immigration, and arms trafficking.
Kauder congratulated Sisi on the successful referendum on constitutional amendments, saying that Egypt can continue the development process to protect the current stability amid troubled region.
