Tunisia, Egypt & Algeria to hold a ministerial meeting on Libya

TUNIS – Foreign ministers of Tunisia, Egypt and Algeria will hold a meeting on Libya in the upcoming days, the Tunisia Foreign Ministry announced on Saturday.

The announcement came after a phone conversation between Tunisia’s Foreign Minister, Khemaies Jhinaoui, and his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, in which they discussed the situation in Libya.

The two diplomats reiterated the need to urge Libyans to stop fighting and resume the political process under the auspices of the United Nations, according to the ministry’s statement.
