TRIPOLI – Air Force of the Libyan National Army (LNA) carried out on Sunday, an air strike which targeted four armed vehicles, one of which was carrying an anti-aircraft gun, in Wadi Al-Rabie south of Tripoli.
According to a statement by LNA’s Al-Karama Operations Room, Air Force carried out a second airstrike which targeted a number of tanks in an area near the Diplomatic Club.
A third airstrike also targeted several tanks in Qasr bin Ghashir Road; followed by a fourth airstrike which targeted an ammunition store in Ain Zara.
Clashes erupted in Tripoli between the Libya National Army (LNA) and militias of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) after LNA launched a military operation in the capital on April 4. LNA’s operation aims to eliminate militias and terrorist groups that dominated the capital since 2011.
