BENGHAZI – The Libyan National Army (LNA) forces continue their battle in Tripoli with the help of the air force that is demolishing the strongholds of terrorist groups, said LNA Spokesman Maj. Gen. Ahmad al-Mesmari.

The emergence of ISIS and al-Qaeda on the borders of Tripoli is an evidence of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) involvement of transferring terrorists to the country, LNA Spokesman pointed out in a press conference Wednesday.

He explained that Turkey is also involved in the transfer of terrorists to Libya, pointing out that the European tour of the Head of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez al-Sarraj was to make deals for weapons and SAM 7 missiles, as he said that the Muslim Brotherhood Group became a terrorist group according to the Libyan House of Representatives’ (HoR) resolution.

Al-Mesmari confirmed that the strikes directed at civilians at Ben Ghashir area in Tripoli indicate the other side’s loss of the battle.
