The Address | Benghazi – Libya

PARIS – The French Foreign Ministry said that there is no way to end what it called the conflict in Libya, except through a political solution, under the auspices of the United Nations, noting that the course of France is well known.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Laudrine criticized the lack of initiative by the head of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez al-Sarraj.

The French diplomacy indicated that thes political process, on which France is working, with its partners, particularly the Europeans, must be based on the principles agreed upon at the Paris, Palermo and Abu Dhabi conferences, demanding that the Libyan parties should shoulder their responsibilities and implement the commitments they have made.
