Former leader of extremist LIFG calls for the displacement of LNA supporters of Tripoli

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

The former leader of the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group, Sami al-Saadi, aka Abu al-Munther, warned the people of Tripoli from supporting the Libyan National Army led by Marshal Khalifa Haftar.

On his Facebook account, al-Saadi said that residents of Tripoli who support the army “must sell their houses and go to Benghazi to live in security, safety, and freedom, away from the militias.”

“In Libya.n. For the sake of Allah, whoever sees themselves as children of Tripoli and still want Haftar, must sell their houses and go to Benghazi to live in security, safety, and freedom, away from the militias. Imagine, this type of people still exists.”

The warning came after a massive crackdown on hundreds of people in Tripoli by gunmen who are said to be affiliated with the internationally recognized Government led by Fayez al-Sarraj.
