WASHINGTON – Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL), Ghassan Salamé, has concluded a three-day visit to the United States’ capital.
According to a short statement by UNSMIL via Twitter, Salamé “held in-depth discussions with senior USA Administration and Congress officials.”
“The visit comes as part of his intensive efforts to restore a unified international position on Libya to end to its current crisis.”
