The Address | Benghazi – Libya
TRIPOLI – The Information Office of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) published a report on what it said was a meeting between the Head of GNA Fayez al-Sarraj and tribal dignitaries from Barqa region (Cyrenaica).
The meeting was attended by personalities who are not known among the dignitaries and elders of Cyrenaica, some of them belong to the terrorist groups, including Abdul Hamid al-Kizza, who was assigned, after the Istanbul meeting of the Libyan Muslim Brotherhood (LMB), as a social adviser to Ali al-Sallabi, the prominent leader in LMB.
Al-Kizza appeared again with al-Sarraj in Tunisia as the head of al-Awaqir tribe in Cyrenaica, which was denied by one of the members of the Supreme Council of the Awaqir tribe. The Council Member confirmed to the Address Journal that al-Kizza, who was living in Egypt then moved to Turkey, is not an elder of the al-Awaqir tribe.
