TRIPOLI – The Tunisian authorities have put the country’s south-eastern border on alert following information from the international coalition against ISIS indicating the presence of its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in Libya, French magazine Jeune Afrique reports, citing an intelligence source.

Earlier, the Tunisia Digital news site also reported that the leader of ISIS had fled to Libya after the bitter defeat of his men in the battle of Baghouz, Syria.

Late April, the terror group released a video of its leader in which he vowed to seek revenge for loss of territory.
