Libya, UNICEF join hands for youth entrepreneurs

Libya’s General Authority of Sports and Youth sealed a deal with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) on cooperation to build up skills of young people in the business field.

In a statement, the UNICEF confirmed that it “signed a two-year work plan to support youth programs” with the Libyan General Authority of Sports and Youth.

It added: “during 2019-2020 ambitious adolescents and young girls and boys will receive transformational leadership and innovative thinking trainings to set-up social enterprises in 24 municipalities.”

UNICEF also signed an agreement with the Libyan Ministry of Education with an aim to offer children that suffered the impact of a conflict with education opportunities.
