DERNA- Health Ministry of the Libyan Interim Government condemned the explosions that targeted the positions of the Libyan National Army (LNA) in the city of Derna east of Benghazi Sunday morning.
The Spokesman of the Ministry Moataz Trabelsi said in a press statement that the explosions wounded 11 members of LNA forces, noting that the Ministry was providing emergency services and treatment.
Trabelsi confirmed that the Minister of Health Saad Akoub issued instructions directly to the emergency room to send 4 modern ambulances to facilitate the rapid delivery of medical and ambulance service.
The first bombing targeted the headquarters of the Institute of Islamic Sharia, which is stationed detachment from the operations room Omar Mukhtar, while the other occurred at the headquarters Bulahti battalion of LNA, which is close to the first bombing site.
