LNA conducts air strikes on militias concentrations in Tripoli

TRIPOLI – The Libyan National Army (LNA) carried out several air strikes on the concentrations of the armed militias allied with the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) at the Tripoli airport road front line, A military source said on Monday.

LNA Air Force assisted the ground forces from Azizia to al-Krimeya and targeted concentrations in other areas, said the Spokesman of LNA Brigadier General Ahmed al-Mesmari in a press conference held in Benghazi late Sunday night.

The militias focused their attacks towards Tripoli airport, with the LNA forces engaged in clashes in other front lines, but LNA responded to them, he pointed out.

LNA killed more than 31 terrorists in addition to detention of dozens and destruction and return of a large number of vehicles during the past 48 hours during military operations in Tripoli and its environs, LNA Spokesman explained.
