Libyans celebrate Eid al-Fitr

The Libyan interim government and the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs announced that Tuesday is the first day of Eid al-Fitr.

The holiday celebrates this year the conclusion of the 29 days of dawn-to-sunset fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.
