TRIPOLI – The Media Center of al-Karama Operations Room of the Libyan National Army (LNA) denied accusations against LNA forces of planting mines around Tripoli International Airport.

The fabrications and allegations of the Muslim Brotherhood Group and its gangs came due to the magnitude of the losses and depletion they suffered, said the Media Center in a statement today.

LNA forces respect international laws and conventions and abide by international human rights law. LNA did not use mines of any kind in any previous or current confrontation with criminal and terrorist groups, the Media Center stressed.

It is noteworthy that LNA has been conducting a military operation in Tripoli outskirts since 4 April to liberate the city of terrorist groups and criminal militias.
