Intensive patrols of LNA 178 infantry battalion to protect Libyan-Chadian border

LIBYA-CHAD BORDER – Units of the 178th Infantry Battalion of the Libyan National Army (LNA), conducted intensive security patrols on the Libyan border with Chad and Sudan.

The patrols, which were launched from the municipality of Rabiana in south-eastern Libya and lasted for a whole week, included inspecting the border from the Klinga Mountains to Saif 16 to the Sarra area, to combat smuggling, eliminate bandits, and illegal immigration.

The 178th Infantry Battalion stressed it fully controlled and secured the border and some of its units returned to the point of concentration in the municipality of Rabiana.
