WHO works with Libyan officials to fight vaccine-preventable diseases

LIBYA – World Health Organization (WHO) worked last week with Libyan officials and vaccination specialists from Libya’s National Center for Disease Control to plan future activities to fight vaccine-preventable diseases, WHO said in a statement Wednesday.

Protecting children in Libya from polio, measles and other diseases requires coordination and vigilance, according to WHO.
