Fighting between two GNA militias: Bugra vs. Radaa

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

TRIPOLI – Local sources in Tripoli confirmed that al-Bugra militia of the al-Sarraj government fired several shells at the Radaa deterrent force militia, which is also under the al-Sarraj government.

The sources said that the al-Bugra militia on Wednesday night targeted at least ten times the positions of the Radaa deterrent force, including positions near Mitiga Airport in the Tripoli coastal road.

The sources said that tensions between the GNA militias started when the Radaa has detained for some time a number of Islamist extremists in its prisons, who are in connection with al-Bugra militia.
