TOBRUK – The Libyan House of Representatives (HoR) reaffirmed its categorical rejection of the security, military and maritime border agreement signed between Head of the  Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA), Fayez al-Sarraj, and Turkish President, Recep Erdogan.

In a statement on Wednesday, HoR expressed its support for the measures taken by the House Spokesman, Counselor Aqeela Saleh, to address international and regional institutions and bodies to nullify the agreement and withdraw international recognition of GNA.

HoR also condemned the statements of the Turkish President regarding his country’s willingness to send military forces to the Libyan territories and considered it a blatant interference in the Libyan affairs, stressing that any threats affecting the sovereignty of Libya and the interests of its people will be confronted.
