Moscow is ready to discuss the Libyan crisis with Washington – Kremlin

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

MOSCOW – Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow is ready to discuss the Libyan crisis with Washington, after the Tripoli-based Government of Fayez al-Sarraj (GNA) received support from Turkey, according to Sputnik.

This statement comes hours after the arrival of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Ankara to meet his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, as they will discuss the situation in both Libya and Syria.

US President Donald Trump discussed on Tuesday the situation in Libya with Erdogan and ways to restore stability to the North African country, saying that “there is chaos in Libya now,” and noting that he will also speak with Russian President Vladimir Putin in this regard.
