Guterres: We hope ceasefire in Tripoli will be consolidated in Geneva talks

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

NEW YORK – United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that there has been a repeated breach of the declared truce in Libya.

“A number of countries pledged in Berlin not to send weapons to Libya, but they violated the arms embargo,” Guterres added at a press conference Tuesday.

The UN Secretary-General expressed his hope that the talks taking place between the parties to the Libyan conflict in Geneva will lead to the consolidation of the ceasefire in Libya.
