The Arab role is necessary in efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis, UAE Foreign Minister says

Anwar Gargash, the UAE Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, said that the Arab countries’ role is necessary in the international efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis.

“Today, the UAE has participated in the ministerial follow-up meeting of the Berlin Conference on Libya in Munich,” Gargash said on Twitter.

“We are working with friends and partners to reach a political solution that addresses the threat of extremism and terrorism and we believe that the Arab role within international efforts in Libya is vital and necessary,” the UAE Foreign Minister added.
