No Coronavirus cases recorded in Libya, NCDC confirms

The National Center for Disease Control announced that it had not recorded any cases of Coronavirus in Libya, “based on data received from the alert and rapid response network of hospitals and health centers, and data received from the International Health Supervision Office through the border point.”

The Center pointed out in an official statement that it had taken a number of measures to confront the disease, including the formation of the National Committee to confront the virus, continuous monitoring of the global epidemiological situation, activating the detection using thermal cameras for travelers at all ports, and preparing a medical guide for workers in the field.

The NCDC also emphasized that it “has raised the level of preparedness of the network of early warning and rapid response, and intensified awareness campaigns and health education.”
