The Libyan Red Crescent in Sirte has provided non-food aid items to families displaced from Al-Hishah town, which fled their homes in the battles east of Misrata due to fighting between the Misrata militias of the National Accord Government and the Libyan National Army.

In an official statement, the Red Crescent of Sirte announced that “after assessing the situation, the number of internally displaced families in Sirte reached more than 200, as most of which live in Sirte schools and a number of public buildings in the city.”
