The Libyan National Army spokesperson, Ahmed al-Mismari, accused the forces of the National Accord government of “targeting neighborhoods in Tripoli,” as part of the war between the two sides since last April.

“The terrorist militias reinforced with elements of the Turkish army penetrate the truce and target civilian neighborhoods south of Tripoli with heavy artillery,” al-Mismari said in a note on Facebook, adding, “Our forces are still observing the truce and have not responded to the sources of fire that is known to us.”
