QARABULLI, Libya – 5 family members were killed on Thursday as a result of targeting their car by a Turkish drone in the al-Rawajeh area near al-Qarabulli east of Tripoli, confirmed the Spokesman of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed al-Mismari.

Al-Mismari indicated that this crime is added to the crimes of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Libya as part of the implementation of his new colonial scheme.

Al-Mismari asked: “Are we going to hear a statement from Ghassan Salame and his team at the UN Supporr Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) or a comment from the Berlin axis?, referring the states participated in Berlin conference on Libya.”

Al-Mismari indicated that all five family members were killed as a result of direct targeting of their car.

He said that both, “Father Salem Al-Mabrouk Juma, mother Aisha Faraj Juma, and children Ahmed Salem, Amira Salem, and Abrar Salem, were killed in the strike.”

Al-Mismari had mentioned that militias allied with the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) broke on Thursday the truce declared since January 12th, indicating that they had again targeted residential areas on the outskirts of Tripoli with indiscriminate shells.

LNA Spokesman said that “dozens of indiscriminate shells target populated areas in the Qasr bin Ghashir area in a continuous violation of the armistice by terrorist gangs.”
