BENGHAZI – The Spokesman of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Major General Ahmed al-Mesmari, announced that he would enter quarantine for two weeks “after returning from a business trip abroad”, with the accompanying team, in implementation of the issued precautionary decisions to confront Corona virus (COVID-19).

Al-Mismari confirmed, in a statement today, that this comes despite the fact that he and his accompanying team members had “no symptoms of infection”.

He stressed that public safety is a priority and everyone should abide by the decisions issued and the implementation of instructions, so that “we do not get involved in the spread of the pandemic.”
