The Address | Benghazi – Libya

BENGHAZI – Lt. Gen. Abdel-Razek al-Nadhouri, the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan National Army (LNA) and the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Combating Coronavirus Pandemic, affirmed that the Libyan people are able to defeat all their enemies and will not fail to challenge and defeat this pandemic, referring to COVID-19.

Al-Nadhouri said in a press conference on Monday that the Committee had decided to impose full curfew throughout 24 hours for ten days, starting from Wednesday, stressing that everyone who violates the resolutions will expose himself to a punishment that may be financial.

He added: “These measures, despite their strictness, are for the sake of your safety. We do not want to suffer what Italy and the other countries, where the epidemic spread, have suffered,” noting that everyone should follow the instructions of the Medical Consultative Committee.
