LNA targets GNA militias with night air strikes south-east Misurata

MISURATA – The Libyan National Army (LNA) launched night air strikes on the locations of the militias allied with the Tripoli-based Government of Fayez al-Sarraj (GNA) in Buqrain south-east Misurata, which resulted in a number of deaths, announced LNA al-Karama Operations Room.

The Room’s media center said that “LNA Air Force carried out a number of night strikes on the militias sites in Buqrain, causing a number of deaths and a state of confusion in their ranks.”

LNA Military Information Division announced the shooting down of a Turkish drone in Buqrain after it took off from the Misurata Air Academy before trying to target the positions LNA military units.

The Division said on Monday, “LNA air defenses targeted a Turkish drone that took off from Misurata Air Academy while it was attempting to target the positions of LNA military units, and shot it down in Buqrain.”
