Head of the Committee for the Return of Libyans stranded in Egypt, Ahmed Al-Nimr, stated that the groups of Libyans stranded in Egypt started to arrive in Libya, after the committee divided them into three groups. The first was 490, the second was 417, and the third was 165.

In press statements, Al-Nimr added that the committee started to travel the third group, through trips from the Egyptian capital Cairo and Alexandria to the Libyan territories, noting that quarantine places had been prepared in the municipalities of Tobruk and Imsaed near the Egyptian border, where the travelers would reside for two weeks from the date they arrive according to the recommendations of the health authorities, before returning to their cities.

All these efforts came on the instructions of the General Commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Al-Nimr added.
