TOBRUK – The withdrawal of the Libyan National Army (LNA) from Uqba Bin Nafeh airbase, also known as Al-Watiyah,
does not mean it lost the war, Member of Parliament Saeed Mugheeb said on Monday.

“The withdrawal from the battle is sometimes considered a victory, the best example of this was when the Muslim army withdrew in the Mu’tah battle against the Romans is a good example,” Mugheeb said in a Facebook post.

“This war is a war of struggle, a people’s struggle for the liberation of its country. Throughout history, all wars of liberation went through such positions, so do not be alarmed, be patient… have faith in your army and in the justice of your war, and we, God willing, are victorious,” he said.
