Young woman kidnapped in Tripoli amid GNA silence

TRIPOLI – A young woman was kidnapped in Tripoli after gunmen stormed her family’s house on Tuesday night, witnesses said.

25-year-old Wessal Abdul Hafeez Minah was at home with her parents in Al-Karimia area Tuesday night. At 9:45 PM an unknown armed group broke into her family’s house and kidnapped her at gunpoint after they stole money and other private possessions.

The Interior Ministry of the Tripoli-based Government of National Accord (GNA) has been notably silent so far regarding the crime.
