Tunisian Defense Minister: We hold to international legitimacy and we reject all forms of foreign interference in Libya

The Tunisian Defense Minister, Imed Hazgui, reiterated the necessity of finding a Libyan political solution to the Libyan crisis, “primarily respecting the will and interests of the Libyan people.”

This came in a statement following a phone call that brought together the Tunisian Defense Minister and his French counterpart, Florence Barley, on Wednesday.

Hazgui stressed the Tunisian position and policy towards the Libyan crisis based on “holding to international legitimacy, and rejecting all forms of foreign interference in Libya.”
