Sisi and Macron discuss developments in Libya

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi discussed today, Monday, with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron developments in Libya.

According to the Egyptian presidential spokesperson, Sisi stressed Egypt’s stance towards the Libyan crisis, which is to restore state institutions, end the chaos of the spread of criminal groups and terrorist militias, and give top priority to combating terrorism, achieving stability and security, and putting an end to foreign interference.

The two presidents agreed on the need to intensify coordination between them while stressing complete interest to end the crisis by reaching a political solution and supporting the international endeavors in this regard.
