The Libyan National Army announced that its units had shot down a Turkish UAV over the city of Alasaba, which the LNA had taken control of on Monday, after the withdrawal of the forces of the National Accord government from it towards Gharyan.

In a statement on Facebook, the LNA information office said “the army’s air defense platforms have targeted a UAV belonging to the Turkish-backed militias and shot it down after it tried to bomb locations of the LNA forces in the city of Alasaba.”
