The Libyan Address Journal

Turkish presidential spokesman Ibrahim Kalin said that the oil exploration operations in Libyan waters carried out by Turkey “came under a license from the Government of National Accord,” noting that his country continues to support the Tripoli-based GNA in Libya and strengthen it for the common interests of the two countries.

During his participation in a program on a local TV channel, Kalin said that no project, whether in the eastern or western Mediterranean, can be sustainable and successful, in isolation from Turkey, noting that the economic relations between the Turkish government and the government of Fayez Al-Sarraj are based on a win-win deal between the two of them.

Kalin also called on the countries that support the Libyan National Army to cut ties with it, stressing that his Turkey is continuing to support Fayez al-Sarraj, “in order to get the Libyan people out of this crisis as soon as possible, and end the clashes.”
