The Tunisian government: Our country’s position on the Libyan crisis is consistent

Tunisian Prime Minister, Elias el-Fakhfakh, said on Sunday that his country’s position on the Libyan crisis is consistent.

Al-Fakhakh said in press statements,, “With regard to the government’s failure to comment on the list presented in Parliament regarding Tunisia’s position on interfering in Libya, some of the initial issues adopted by the Tunisian state do not require the presentation of regulations in parliament.”

Earlier this month, the Tunisian parliament dropped a regulation submitted by the Free Constitutional Party aimed at obliging the Parliament to reject military intervention in Libya and Tunisia’s commitment to the principle of neutrality.
