CAIRO – The Arab League decided on Sunday to postpone the emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers on developments in Libya.

Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that the meeting was postponed to Tuesday instead of tomorrow, according to an Arab League statement in which it was clarified that it was decided to postpone the meeting for a period of 24 hours to be held next Tuesday instead of tomorrow, due to technical reasons for the video communication network and related arrangements for holding the ministerial meeting.

A diplomatic official at the League told French press that Arab foreign ministers will hold two separate sessions at the request of Egypt: the first session on developments in Libya and the second on the issue of the Ethiopian al-Nahda Dam.
