Jufra airbase commander refutes news about Turkish-drone strikes on Sawknah town

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

SAWKNAH, Libya – Al-Jufra Airbase Commander’s office of the Libyan National Army (LNA) refuted the reports circulated by the media affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and close to terrorist groups, regarding the airstrikes on Sawknah town in al-Jufra region.

The office stressed that “What circulated through the Libyan pro-Turkish media about an airstrike on Sawknah is absolutely not true,” noting that these rumors are directed to the Turkish interior and an imaginary response to the “slap of al-Witya airbase”, which LNA targeted with nine airstrikes, resulted in the destruction of the Turkish army defense platforms.

It is noteworthy that the media affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood and close to terrorist groups had claimed that Sawknah town was targeted with Turkish-drone airstrikes.
