Arab League criticizes foreign interference in Libya

GENEVA – The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, has stressed  upon the League’s firm and clear position  in rejecting and condemning all forms of foreign military intervention in the Libyan crisis.

Speaking during a ministers-level UN Security Council video conference on Wednesday, Aboul Gheit renewed his demand for the immediate cessation of hostilities between the Libyan parties, the expulsion of all foreign forces and mercenaries from Libyan territories, and the resumption of national dialogue between Libyans to reach an integrated settlement of the situation in the country with its security, political and economic tracks.
