British, Egyptian chief diplomats discuss Libya on phone

CAIRO – Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, and his British counterpart, Dominic Raab, discussed the relations between the two countries by phone and various issues of interest regional, especially the Libyan crisis.

According to a statement by the United Kingdom embassy in Cairo, the two top diplomats also conferred on developments inherent in the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam and the Middle East peace process.

In the past few weeks, coordination between the two countries has been stepped up in various areas including regional security, trade and the fight against Coronavirus.
