Dendias: Success of peace in Libya depends on the success of Operation Irini

The Address | Benghazi – Libya

ATHENS – Greek Foreign Minister, Nikos Dendias, has linked the success of the peace process in Libya to the success of the European Union’s Operation Irini, which aims to monitor the UN-imposed arms embargo on Libya.

Dendias added that if Irini fails, it will cause a major problem for the European Union.

The Greek top diplomat pointed out that Europe condemns Turkey’s expansionist policies at the expense of its neighbors, in addition to its destabilizing moves to the security and stability of the Middle East region, as he put it.
