GNA’s Coast Guard returns 86 asylum seekers from high sea

The Tripoli-based Coast Guard of the Government of “National Accord” announced that it had returned 86 asylum seekers from the sea in two separate incidents.

In press statements, the Coast Guard said that its western branch had returned 74 asylum seekers to Tripoli, including 13 minors, and that the International Organization for Migration teams provided them with water and food at the migrant landing point.
